| Welcome to the new academic year at Simpson Middle School! We are excited about all that this year holds for our students and our families. A special welcome to those who are new to Simpson this year – teachers, staff, students, parents and our new principal, Andy Bristow. We are thrilled to have you and are sure you will find Simpson a wonderful place!
We have lots planned to make this a great school year for all of us at Simpson. Keep your eyes out for our calendar that will come home the first week of school. It is filled with lots of important dates and information. As always, we welcome and depend on the support and involvement of our teachers, staff, students and parents to make the PTSA activities a success. Whether you have lots of time to give or just a few hours, we invite you to join hands with us this year. A list of volunteer opportunities can be found on this website. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact one of us.

Don’t forget that the Simpson Spirit Store is stocked and ready to supply you with whatever you need. See us at every morning during school from 8:45 – 9:15. We are located on the 8th grade hall. Volunteer Opportunities - Click here for a list of PTSA volunteer opportunities for the 2008-2009 school year. In addition to the opportunities on this list, we are currently in search of a Webmaster. The website requires updating every few days with news and information provided from PTSA officers, the community, and teachers/staff of Simpson. Some knowledge of HTML is a must. This is an easy way to be involved from the quiet of your home! Contact Marianne Strongin with questions or to step up to the job. |
August 19th: New Student Breakfast, 8:50am August 21st: Meet the New Principal Happy Hour 5:00-7 p.m.; 6th grade Band and Orchestra Parent meeting 7 p.m. August 22nd: Movie Night at Simpson—Cheetah Girls 3 “One World”—doors open at 7:30; Movie begins at 8:00; Pick up by 10 p.m. August 25th: Pizza Dinner; 6 p.m.
